A day full of energy: My first big art exhibition at the Macherdaach
First of all, I would like to say a big thank you to Magnus, the ZTL and everyone who made the Macherdaach possible. It was one of the best days since I embarked on the path of an artist.
The story behind the Macherdaach
Another date had actually been fixed for some time: a 24-hour techno trance party was to take place on the same day at the dog rescue center where I was on Mallorca in June. But then I was informed by my friend Magnus that the ZTL (Zentrum für Technikkultur Landau) was once again planning a hands-on technology event. Suddenly there was a great opportunity to exhibit my frequency art there - my first real exhibition at a major event.
So I made my way from my former home in Neustadt an der Aisch, where I was at a live musician event, to Landau. Together with my host Einhorn Beiler and Sandy, we drove to a restaurant where I had helped set up from time to time last year. I had a permanent exhibition there, but now the pictures had to be collected as the restaurant would be closing soon. Thanks to Sandy, we managed to get my artwork to safety in time. Some of my works stayed in Neustadt, but I took a few with me to Landau.
The preparations for Macherdaach
The week leading up to Macherdaach was incredibly intense and emotional. I had two interviews on the topics of spirituality, fringe science and aliens - topics I had never spoken about publicly before. Although I firmly believe in an animated universe and visitors from the depths of space, I always approach the subject with a certain scientific skepticism. During the first interview I was almost immobile with excitement, but the very next day I felt much more relaxed in a live interview on YouTube. This interview has now reached almost 3,000 clicks. More interviews and discussion rounds will follow, but the real highlight of the week was getting closer and closer: my frequency art at Macherdaach.
The Macherdaach
The event itself was overwhelming, the energy noticeably strong. Many guests were enthusiastic about the various stands - from VR glasses and 3D printers to automated miniature systems. I had an ideal exhibition space against a dark backdrop with excellent lighting. Early in the day, I was able to have in-depth conversations with people interested in my art. From business to philosophy, everything was there until late in the evening. I was even able to give an interview about my art.
At the end, the Macherdaach was over, but even during the dismantling the team shone - especially Mona, whose organizational brilliance ensured that everything ran smoothly. Thanks to teamwork, the dismantling was done quickly. We rocked the event together!
The evening wasn't over yet...
But the story doesn't end here: you'll find out how many coincidences came together for one of my artworks to find a new owner and what role laser branding played in the process in my next blog post, which will be published on Sunday at 10 am.
Until then, I wish you an energetic week and a wonderful holiday!
Your Michael
