Why I'm learning responsibility at a dog farm
To be honest, at first I just wanted to give it all up. But then it occurred to me: maybe I'm here on this dog farm to learn what it means to take responsibility for a dozen dogs. And that also means picking up heaps of garbage in the scorching heat. Diapers and other garbage almost made me retch at first, but now there's no turning back. I'm here, in the dog yard, and I can't go anywhere else at the moment. Maybe this is exactly what I need.
There are dogs here who need a master, and I can be that someone to look after them. Fortunately, I also have a couple of experienced dog owners here, Ronja and Massimo, from whom I can learn a lot.
