Hello and welcome to my very first blog post from my new desk, with a view of the wild nature. An enchanting time of year, when the leaves on the trees are turning red-brown. I love this fall romance and the fresh country air. Nevertheless, the digital world, i.e. my laptop and cell phone, are constant companions in my everyday life. It is on this very laptop that I am typing this blog post and sharing my thoughts on a topic that may be controversial, but is also forward-looking: robotics and artificial intelligence (AI). As someone who likes to think outside the box, I am aware that I am addressing polarizing topics that often lead to heated discussions in our society. Nevertheless, I would like to share my views on technical and social developments with you here.
Can AI and robotics promote humanity's intellectual growth?
I recently saw an interview with Elon Musk about the upcoming robot revolution. It is expected that robots will soon take over many of our everyday tasks. But is that fundamentally bad? In my opinion: no. Think about human history - we once had to go hunting every day to survive. But thanks to progress, from the simple farmer's market to the supermarket, we now have the opportunity to channel our mental energy in other directions, be it personal growth, art and culture or relaxing Netflix evenings on Saturdays.
From candlelight to artificial intelligence
While the candle alone lit our homes at night for at least 5,000 years, it has only been 200 years since electricity and light bulbs took over this function. Edison and Tesla were the great pioneers who had a lasting impact on our world. Just as robotics, space travel and AI are leading us into a new age today, it was electrification that made great progress possible back then.
When Google Gemini came onto the market, the question arose: what is more important - politically incorrect gendering or the risk of a nuclear world war? The AI came to the conclusion that the former was more important. However, if certain circles are not careful, an AI could be created whose misuse would be problematic for everyone. Elon Musk predicts that the probability of AI becoming dangerous is a maximum of 20% - and that humanity will be enriched in 80% of cases. Astrological futurologists I trust also predict that AI will be an important component that will enable us as humanity to take the next step into an even more surprising future. I've included the names below. They all have YouTube channels where you can find out more. Through astrological futurology, I believe that the current developments can also lead to a very positive turning point. For more information, just get in touch with me.
Technical development as a mirror of our transformation of consciousness
When I was young, there were telephone books and audio cassettes - today we experience technological possibilities that would have been unimaginable back then. The challenge for us is not to lose our connection to our roots and to nature, to Mother Earth.
Perhaps technological development only reflects our global spiritual development. Our consciousness is expanding and at the same time technical inventions are coming onto the market that reflect this transformation of consciousness on a material level? . So “AI” could one day not only stand for “Artificial Intelligence”, but for “Collective Intelligence”, which connects us with cosmic knowledge.
So if we continue courageously on this path and do not get discouraged, then today's AI development could well be the result of our spiritual growth - a manifestation of our collective spirit.
