The chain of coincidences that completed my work of art
The punk unicorn Beiler
It's amazing what all had to come together. First of all, I had to travel to Neustadt an der Aisch for the open-stage musicians' get-together. For me, this date was absolutely fixed and was firmly integrated into my travel plans. Einhorn Beiler and Sandy were kind enough to offer me a place to sleep for those days and we had a great time together. It was great to meet up with some old faces at the musicians' get-together. I also performed three songs. Contrary to expectations, it was even packed later on, even though there was a big summer festival in town. It was a very nice evening.
The chain of coincidences
The day after the open-stage music event in Nuremberg, I was faced with the decision of whether to go to the movies or drive back to my host Einhorn Beiler. Luckily, I opted for the latter, because when I arrived at the bus stop, he called: Sandy wanted to take me to the restaurant to pick up my pictures. If that hadn't happened, I would have had to leave the art there.
Finally, I decided to leave a few pictures with Einhorn. The “Café Cremo” looks fantastic in Einhorn's guest room, next to the double bass and the old antique furniture. I took three pictures, including the one that would later be lasered on the Macherdaach, with me on the train journey. As you can imagine, I was packed - and so these works could be included in the exhibition at the Macherdaach.
Pioneer #1
Then it had to happen that I couldn't say goodbye to Danka three times before I had the idea to offer her the painting *Pioneer #1*. Last but not least, I needed a nerd who happened to overhear the conversation and liked to work with lasers.
And finally, my artwork *Pioneer #1* had a handmade solid wooden back, which made the engraving possible in the first place. This would not have been possible with a canvas stretcher frame.
A long chain of coincidences led to this great moment: my artwork was laser engraved by nerds. Only life writes stories like this.
