The USA after the election: thoughts on the return of Donald Trump

Is it good or bad that Trump won?

It kept me awake at night because when I travel to the USA next year, I am convinced that this outcome will have a big impact. As a skeptic and system dropout, I am generally critical. Similar to Germany, you do have the opportunity to vote “democratically”, but the choices seem limited. Most people overlook the fact that there were other candidates on the ballot besides Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. However, these are barely mentioned and disappear into insignificance. There is a similar phenomenon in Germany: the large billboards are reserved for the established, financially strong parties, while smaller, motivated parties that could perhaps really make a difference only get a few hundred A5 posters on lampposts in remote areas.

While I'm not sure that Trump and Elon Musk aren't part of the big establishment and banking system or involved in criminal state apparatuses, the election results last night ultimately made me favor Trump's return as president when I visit the US. Harris' campaign essentially boiled down to “Don't vote for Trump, vote for Harris instead, because she's a black woman.” On the other hand, she could hardly show any concrete successes or ideas from her previous vice presidency. In addition, it is known that an election campaign that is only directed against the opponent - such as Harris' “Don't vote for Trump!” - can unconsciously increase the focus on him, similar to the psychological trap: “Don't think about a pink elephant!” ... what do you think about then? I often thought that there was a calculation behind this and that the Democrats also wanted to promote Trump inconspicuously using such psychological tricks and that everyone was in cahoots. But that's just a conspiracy theory.

Trump, on the other hand, has a clear idea of how he wants to lead the USA in the next four years.

For those still stuck in the “Trump is Hitler” media propaganda, remember, Trump was already president and the world has not ended. However, as for the alliance between Trump, Vince, Robert J. Kennedy and Elon Musk, this should continue to be watched closely. However, I see more stability for the US in this outcome.

In my next blog on Sunday, I will focus on Elon Musk and examine the opportunities and risks that I see in his technological developments.
